Stage 22 School of Arts
About Stage 22 School of Arts:

Stage 22 is one of the fastest developing stage schools in the UK. By providing weekly tuition in all areas of the arts encompassing acting, singing, dancing, scriptwriting and filmmaking, Stage 22 has a clear monopoly on the majority of its competitors.

Classes are held in central locations throughout the UK, usually weekly but inevitably tutors/directors step up rehearsals when nearing a production. All our schools are held in previously approved locations by the Stage 22 management and are run by experienced members of personnel. An instructor who will be trained and experienced in at least one major area of the arts covered and a co-ordinator who deals with signing the children in and out of class as well as dealing with parent/carer enquiries.

HISTORY

Formed in 2000 by the opening of a single school in Corringham, Essex Stage 22 has grown to have a raft of success stories to its credit.

Buster, RMS Titanic, Midnight Slayer were all products of Stage 22 and paved the way for a future not only thrusting young people into the limelight but closely mentoring and teaching them in the industries various different areas.

In 2005 the company underwent restructuring and lessons were revamped to incorporate scriptwriting and filmmaking, at the time a first for the area. Since the inception of the latter two skills into the Stage 22 curriculum, children have begun to produce their own 30 minute pilot drama episodes. Throughout the making of these the children are mentored in film and TV making and have the opportunity to visit BBC studios as well as gain knowledge from visiting professionals and celebrities.
